Julie & Jesse

If you’re from Florida then you know how bad our thunderstorms can be. Would you believe me if I told you that it poured 15 minutes before our St Pete Beach engagement session? I honestly thought I was going to have to cancel the session. However, Julie & Jesse said they were still open to have their photo shoot and it turned out to be perfect. Before we started I learned that Jesse and Julie had come from Tennessee to scout a venue and take their engagement photos. I felt extremely honored that they decided to book me for it.

Rainy Day Tips

1. Don’t cancel just because it might rain. Make the best out of your session. At the end of the day it’s not the location or weather, but the company and trust in your photographer.
2. Have fun. Trust that your photographer is going to capture you in the best way possible. Just be yourself and the rest will speak for itself.
3. Go with the flow. Honestly, I thought I was going to have to cancel due to the weather yet, at the same time I was ready to take magical raining in rain or shine.

All in all, Julie and Jesse had an incredible engagement session. After walking around the avenues and taking pictures near the homes we decided to head to the beach. In perfect timing, the sky decided to break and the sun started to peak through. The three of us witnessed the calm before the storm and it was perfection. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that beach in a more beautiful manner. I can honestly say that I am very excited for the next rainy day to take beautiful images.
