Brittany and Jon and their Downtown Tampa Florida Wedding are really special to me. You see, both of them are high school sweethearts and whom I’ve known since high school as well! Brittany and Jon met through Jon’s sister, who was a good friend of Brittany’s. The rest is history and these two are just so darn perfect for each other!
The beautiful Catholic Ceremony
They got married in the Catholic church they both grew up going to in New Tampa. There were so many beautiful parts of their traditional ceremony it was hard to narrow down the photos of it for the blog! i love it when couples are getting married in a location that has so many memories for them from the past years, it adds an entirely new level of emotional connection to their day.
Their Downtown Tampa Florida Wedding Reception
Following their wedding ceremony, we all made our way to downtown Tampa for family formals and their portraits together. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, basically the perfect Florida day, for pictures. And the reception was decorated with a Christmas theme (I love me some well done Christmas themed weddings) and the party was LIT! You couldn’t get Brittany or Jon off the dance floor and they spent the whole night dancing. My favorite part of the reception, they had donuts and coffee instead of cake.
