The Orlo is located in downtown Tampa. It was a family home that belonged to Orlo Spafford in 1896.
In 1922 it was sold to the Tampa’s Women’s Club and made into an event venue. This is where Dan and Olivia had their wedding in December 2019.

It was truly a beautiful day. I came in early to photograph the beautiful home and all the details. Shortly, I was joined by Olivia, her mother, sister, and closes friends. In one way or another, they all helped Olivia get ready to have her first look with Dan. Her sister helped button her dress while mom held her hand and her friends were there for support.

After getting ready, Olivia arrived at the Plant Museum in the University of Tampa where her groom was waiting for her. He was waiting out by the trees. Olivia came from behind, tapped his shoulder, and the greeted each other with hugs and tears – it was a special moment. Soon after, we began family portraits and bridal party portraits. We walked all around the front of the Plant Museum to capture greenery in the photographs.

Once we arrived back at The Orlo, Dan and Olivia met their family in the upstairs suite to sign the Ketubah. Then the ceremony began in the ballroom. The ceremony was  held by Olivia’s aunt. It was beautiful and very touching. Dan’s sister also read a special blessing for them. Then Dan and Olivia were pronounced Man and Wife and sealed it with a kiss.

Their reception followed and it included family photos in front of the home, drinks, delicious food, and lots of dancing. All in all, it was an absolutely beautiful day filled with lots of laughter, joy, and love.
